Ozeri 3x Tower Fan

The Ozeri 3x Tower Fan is about 44 inches, comes with a remote and has 3 small, but very powerful fans. It has a glass base and comes with one screw that you can twist off with your hands. You have control over each fan individually from the fan and the remote. It has 3 speed settings, timers, a sleep setting and another setting. It says it has passive noise reduction, but it will still make noise if you are using it when you are awake. If you use it while sleeping, you can definitely go to sleep.

It is a thin fan and when you cut it on, it makes a beeping sound to let you know it's on. When you touch the fan, it has a very easy to see and sensitive touch kind of display. The buttons and the blue light at the bottom light up and they eventually dim down. The more air you want to feel, the louder it gets. However, considering it is a fan, it is not so bad that you can't handle it. I think the fan is not quiet, but quiet considering how much air it blows.

The fan has a luxury look and feel to it. It costs about $100 and it works great. It has a space in the back for you to pick it up and move it. The cord is not super long, but the airflow will reach. The cord is about average length. I live in a very hot climate and I tried using my ceiling fan to cool me down, but I would wake up in the middle of the night from pretty much burning up. I also tried a regular fan with a long base, but that gave me problems as well. If I had it locked in it's position, my eyes would dry out. If I had it swivel I would be cooler, but I would still be sweaty. With it being a tower fan, it reaches me at the height of my bed, higher than that and lower than that.

I can also leave the fan swiveling on it's highest setting and still go to sleep. I don't wake up covered in sweat, my eyes don't dry out, and it helps me stay asleep in the middle of the night and wake up easier. I don't wake up from seeing the lights. I don't wake up from hearing it. I can sleep facing the fan or with my back towards it and I feel the same regardless. This fan helps me relax and it's not heavy to pick up. The glass base gives it some weight, but not too much. I haven't had to clean it yet, but I'd probably have to take it apart or use an air duster. I love using it though because even though it's now Fall, I do still have hot days from living in the desert. I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

White God on Netflix!

There's this film on Netflix called, "White God" and it's a mixture of Cujo, Chappie and Planet of the Apes. It's Cujo in that it has rabid dogs, Chappie in that these dogs were sweet and innocent before their circumstances changed and it's Planet of the Apes in that there is a dog uprising. You may or may not have passed over this film, but you should definitely look it up if you haven't seen it. This girl named Lili has a dog that she loves named Hagen. He follows her everywhere, but nobody wants the dog around and everyone tells her to get rid of him. Everyone has a problem with the dog, including Lili's father, but she begs him to let her keep him. He's okay with keeping Hagen, even though something bad happens, until the manager of the apartment complex tells him that he has to get rid of the dog. Lili's father decides to get rid of Hagen by abandoning him. Hagen tries his best to find Lili, but can't.

Hagen quickly finds out that humans are terrible and bands together with other dogs left out in the street that have been picked up by animal control. The dogs have an uprising and Lili is the only one who can save the day and remind Hagen of what he used to be. The acting is great and the dogs are extremely well trained. It's part what the heck am I watching and part I have to see where this goes. The revenge part doesn't happen until the end, but the story is pretty decent. It might seem like it drags a little bit, but it's worth it. 6.5/10

Babadook on Netflix!

There is this horror movie on Netflix called "Babadook". It's been up for a while, but you might have passed over it because you didn't know anything about it. I was one of those people that hasn't heard anything, but I eventually watched it and it's not bad at all. The movie is about a widow who raises her young son and he appears to seem like a problem child. He cuts up in school and won't stop screaming and arguing. It has to do with the discovery of this book about Babadook, but no one knows that at first. The movie shifts from problem child to problem mother as she slowly descends into madness and tries to harm her son. At first, the movie appears as if the mother has some type of postpartum depression because she can't deal with her son or she's grieving over the loss of her husband and doesn't know how to cope with life. You don't see Babadook at first, but you see his influence.

Babadook goes from causing the son to act out to taking over the mother's willpower. The mother doesn't believe or realize it until it's almost too late. She ends up finding a way to fight back, goes on to live a semi-normal life with her son and something else (but I don't want to give away the ending). The horror is not full of gore or blood. It's mostly an annoying horror and that's not a bad thing. It's like if you were locked in a room with no windows or anything else and all you could hear was the most annoying song you've ever heard in life. Well that would be bad for you, but in this movie, it works. The actors are great because you believe it. You think, "Why is this child acting out?" and "Why can't this mother deal with it?" By the time you get to the end, you think I'm glad things worked out for them (kind of). I rate this film a 7/10.

Maybelline Voxbox: Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation

I received a Voxbox containing Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation and I received it for free in exchange for this honest review. It was a close match for me, but not a perfect match to my skin tone. I went to Maybelline's website and found out that they do have more shades, so I probably could find my shade. This shade actually matches the color of my hands more than my face, which is a different color altogether. I will say that it went on really smooth and you don't need to use much. It doesn't feel caked up or causes you to break out. If you use it over time, it actually can improve how your skin looks and feels. You pump a little bit out and use a sponge or whatever and spread it evenly.

It says on the label that you can use it as a sunscreen and it is SPF 15, but apply water-resistant sunscreen if you are getting in water or sweating. It feels really light and it doesn't have a smell. I think the bottle looks really nice, too. It lasts all day and it's oil-free. It won't fade and the only reason they mention sunscreen if you sweat is for if you needed extra sunscreen protection and not that your makeup wouldn't hold up well. It takes about 3 weeks to change your skin's appearance and it can reduce the amount of acne, redness or dullness your skin has. Check around for your perfect shade!

The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

The Man From U.N.C.L.E. is currently in theaters and I saw it before I heard all of the reviews for it, which turned out to be a very good thing. Some people were saying that it was kind of funny, but was dragged out or that the two leading male characters had no chemistry. I saw it and I have no idea what they are talking about. Guy Ritchie directed this movie and it comes from the t.v. show The Man From U.N.C.L.E. It is funny and it has really cool action in it. It's about two spies who hate each other and work better alone, but have to work together for the sake of the mission. When people said they have no chemistry, I thought that was odd. They were meant to hate each other and their chemistry seemed exactly like how it should have been if two people have been trained to hate other and just in general hate their competition.

If you've seen everything else in theaters and think there is nothing left. There is. You might be waiting for Spectre or think nothing can top Spy or Kingsman, but this movie is pretty good. You might see this movie after Straight Outta Compton and before Spectre, but you won't regret it. If you want to talk about regret, I saw Vacation. If it wasn't for 2 certain cameos, I would still be looking back with regret. With U.N.C.L.E., you might not think it's the greatest, but it's pretty good. Also, this movie is supposed to be a backstory of how the team is formed. You can see it with just about anyone. It does have a few strong scenes, so maybe only take your kids if they're about 13 or 14 and up. I actually really enjoyed this movie, but I didn't want to over-hype people up to it. I just wanted people to know critics expect movies to be Oscar-worthy, but the general audience expects a decent movie and yes, I have actually heard people say great things about Vacation and I'm still confused. 7/10

i-Design Sunglasses

The company is called i-Design and they make some amazing handcrafted glasses from France. These sunglasses have no screws, are very flexible and durable and have a few different options for color and design of both lenses and frames. They come in this black stylish box and include a pouch and a cleaning cloth. They fit my face and are pretty comfortable and I also never had a problem with them slipping off of my face. They protect well against sun glare and rays and they are made for both men and women. They definitely have the designer look and the retail price is $150, but the price you pay is $60. I know that glasses like these usually sell for hundreds of dollars and they are definitely high quality, so you are not getting ripped off.

I love my new sunglasses!
You can't go wrong with sunglasses like these. I love that I can get designer sunglasses without paying a ridiculous amount. They look good on everyone and if you like RayBan's, but don't want to pay the price for them, then you will not hate that you bought these glasses. They are not second rate glasses. They hold up on their own and you can get them on Amazon here: i-Design Sunglasses I received these sunglasses heavily discounted in exchange for an honest review.
