Tryazon What's In Your Purse Party

Tryazon let's you host parties to get the word out for awesome products and the best part is that you can keep and give away whatever you want to. For this party, I received Brainstream SOI Purse Light, Whoosh! Duo+ and Cool Cucumber Eye Pads from Amirose London. You take pictures, share them to social media, show and tag Tryazon and you're done. You get some really nice products and you need at least 5 people at your party. Now, let's talk about the products.

These were created for when you can't find what you're looking for in your purse. You can also use them in a dark room. For example, if you're looking for the light in the bathroom, you can use this light to help you find the switch. The light is touch-activated, very bright and lasts for about 15 seconds. You will be able to quickly and easily find what you're looking for in your purse.

Whoosh! Duo+ is a cleaner for any and all of your screens. It comes in two bottles and one is pocket-sized. You also get two clothes and this product is free of harsh chemicals. It gets rid of smudges, dirt and grime. Your cell phone is one of the dirtiest things that never gets washed and using this product makes your phone healthier to use.

The green pack is the Amirose London Cool Cucumber Eyes Pads. You can use them as-is, but they work better if you put them in the fridge. They have a cucumber design on them and you place them over your eyes to reduce the strain and look of your eyes after staring at a computer screen all day. All of these products work great and the party was fun. We all got to test and play around with everything. One person used the lights to pretend he was Iron Man and another person cleaned their phone. I gave away and kept some of the products and I can't wait to throw another party. I received these products free in exchange for an honest review and a cool party!

First Botany Cosmeceuticals Coco Glow Coconut Milk Body Scrub

This is a body scrub from a company named First Botany Cosmeceuticals. It's made from all natural ingredients, it has a light coconut scent and it makes your skin feel amazing. It feels like salt when you rub it on your skin. You use it after you clean yourself in a bath or shower, but before you're ready to come out.

You rub this scrub all over in a circular motion and it works best if you do it two to three times, but I just use it once. You can use it to help get rid of dead skin. You can also exfoliate, soften, smooth and revitalize your skin. It has vitamins and nutrients and works well for dry and/or damaged skin.

It doesn't have any harsh chemicals and doesn't irritate my skin. It costs about $20 a jar and it's a chance to get a spa-like treatment without the big cost. I have dry skin and I didn't have any problem using this. It can also help with dry skin with continued use. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. Barbershop: The Next Cut

blogs.indiewire.com
Barbershop: The Next Cut is the third Barbershop movie in the franchise. It's important to keep in mind that this movie is not something that's going to win an Oscar. There are people that rated this bad because they are treating it as something other than what it is. These are the same people who loved the movie Step Brothers or Superbad. It's not that this movie is bad, it's that it has a mostly black cast, which makes it more relatable to black people. This doesn't mean it isn't a movie for everyone, though. Everyone and anyone can follow the storyline and the jokes. It follows the formula of the first Barbershop movie, but it is way funnier.

Calvin still gets frustrated at the way certain things are going in his life and his frustrations lead him to making a big decision that affects the lives of the people he works with. He decides not to tell his co-workers, but one of them knows the truth and rats Calvin out in front of the whole Barbershop. Eddie, the old barber, gives Calvin some advice. Then, Calvin apologizes and changes his mind. It's the same formula from the first film, so why see it? First off, a lot of movies follow generic story lines, but that doesn't mean they're bad. Second, there's more to this story than that. Finally, as I mentioned above this movie is very funny.

The barbershop is now a barbershop and a hair salon, Calvin's son is older and making bad decisions, Common is filling in for Michael Ealy as his own brand new character, who married Eve's character, Terri. Some people make quick cameos, but still have a central or funny part that adds to the story. There's a nerdy chick, an awkward guy, a loose woman, an honorable man and so on. They have a variety of characters that bring in their perspective to things and it's fun to see.

They mentioned that no matter what happens in the movie, there will be something funny said or done to lighten the mood. It's something that happens in the black community, so I understood the reason for this. They have the main cast from the first two movies and a few new additions. The only problems with this movie is that some moments either wrap up quickly or don't realistically happen. It doesn't take away from the movie, though. I think they did it to not make the movie more grim than it had to be and that they didn't want to make it too long.

The movie touches on real world issues, the way some men and women act today, how things have changed over time, etc. No matter what happens in this movie, you will be laughing from start to finish. If you don't want to see The Jungle Book or have already seen it, check out Barbershop: The Next Cut. Don't forget to watch the end scene that rolls with the credits!

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Credit: comicbook.com

This is a movie that almost everyone has been waiting for. You finally get to see a movie with Batman and Superman. There is a problem, though. For Hollywood, the more people you add to the story, the harder it becomes to tell everyone's side. If you haven't seen this movie, you will go see it. It doesn't matter how many bad reviews it gets because it's the story you've been waiting for. Every character in this movie has been perfectly cast, but the story is not a strong one. You will see a lot of back and forth, dream sequences and parts that just flat out make no sense, whatsoever. However, you will and should go see this movie.

The standout star of this movie is Wonder Woman. She is getting a solo movie directed and written by women, so when you see her in this movie, you will want to see her in her own film. She doesn't stand out very strong as Diana Prince, but when she enters as Wonder Woman, she can handle things better than the men can. You also get the best Batman you can. The script wouldn't make you think so, but the mannerisms and movements of the grizzled, older Batman are all here. This is not the Batman you are used to, though. There is a much more grim Batman in this movie. This Batman does stand out and is expected to also have a solo movie.

Superman is what Superman always is. He is the guy that does what's right, even when people are against him. Lois Lane is actually a bit bothersome in this movie. She always gets herself in trouble for the sake of letting people know that she is a journalist and not just a woman. She is constantly a damsel in distress, in harm's way and/or making bad decisions. Superman loves and saves her regardless because she gives him his bit of normalcy and keeps him on his toes as Superman.

People hated Lex Luthor in this movie, but it was a great version of him because he was actually a spoiled nuisance in his younger years. He'll come across as annoying in the movie, but he is kind of meant to be that way. The other villain in this movie is Doomsday. He'll look just like Doomsday, which is cool, but he'll seem like a quick throwaway character. The problem with this movie is that there is so much stuff that had to be established, that it actually hurt the script. They had to establish Batman and Superman's fight, why Wonder Woman was there, Lex Luthor and Doomsday's origins, the Justice League and how they will form and so on.

This movie hypes you up to all of the other movies coming. It's almost as if it forgot to hype up it's own story. Batman and Superman's fight is trivial and the way it was solved was even worse. However, the actual physical fight is pretty cool. The action and fight scenes are good, Jeremy Irons is the best Alfred I have ever seen and Laurence Fishburne makes a great Perry White. There are some scenes that are completely unnecessary and it kind of feels like there is a movie or two missing before this one. You will either like it or hate it, but it will leave you wanting more. More being Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, Batman and Justice League 1 and 2 as long as they're not written like this movie. Daredevil Season 2!

Credit: denofgeek.us

When I saw the first season of Daredevil, I was excited because it was everything and more. It had a great cast, story, dialogue, fight scenes, etc. It let me know that with the right people, you can make something great. I couldn't even begin to imagine how they would top that season. With the second season officially upon us, I can say without a doubt, they definitely found a way to top it. This was the season that Daredevil had to question everything he was. We were also introduced to Punisher and Elektra. Stick returned to continue fighting the "war" that no one believes is real, Punisher gets revenge for his family, Elektra shows up to wreck havoc and Daredevil tries to figure out how he can balance being a lawyer and a superhero.

*Spoiler alert* Daredevil can't balance his life, everyone gets mad at him and he still pushes to not kill anyone, even though Punisher and Elektra are the types to follow through on that quest. Wilson Fisk and Nobu show up and nurse Claire quits her job and leaves, so she can go to the Luke Cage show. Daredevil realizes that Stick is right about not getting close to people. It's too bad that he keeps dragging people back into his life. When you see this season, it will be better than the first and it will hype you all the way up to the third season. It lets you know a little bit about where it's headed, like how Wilson Fisk wants to know more about Matt Murdock.

The two best things out of this season are Punisher and fight scenes. Daredevil is cool, but he's struggling with so much. Elektra is his ex-girlfriend that shows up out of nowhere when he recently decided to date Karen. I personally think he should have gotten with Claire because he always puts her in danger, but she still holds him down, while Karen always runs to the danger. Punisher is cool. You'll feel like he steps up where Daredevil can't. A part of Daredevil realizes that every bad guy he puts away ends up right back on the street, but he insists on keeping all of them alive. Punisher only goes after bad guys, but it's possible that he could just be making everything easy for when Wilson Fisk gets out of prison.

Elektra is not as great as I hoped she be, but she's still pretty good. She has great fight scenes, but she's a spoiled rich woman, who's more than okay with killing. She's constantly fighting between being good and bad, while getting on Matt's nerves. Sometimes, she means well and sometimes she doesn't. It's the spoiled rich woman part of her that gets on my nerves, while Punisher is a straight to the point kind of guy. I think superhero movies and t.v. shows just generally have trouble writing female superheros, probably because they are written from a male perspective. She's often hot, bratty and overly-sensitive. Don't get me started on Rogue from the X-Men. She couldn't even fly and just wanted a boyfriend that she could hold hands with.

Anyways, lots of great action is in this season. There are fight scenes from beginning to end without missing a beat. I know Matt is going to have trouble next season and it looks like Fisk is definitely coming back in a big way next season. Foggy might have a new, big, powerful job and Karen now knows Matt's secret. Stick has to continue fighting the war and Elektra will come back in a very different manner. Punisher has a cool new outfit and weapons and Daredevil is slowing starting to upgrade his look and weapons. I can't wait for season 3 and I'm glad Luke Cage will be coming out in September. I can't wait to see that show. I'm glad I have these first two amazing seasons of Daredevil to hold me over until then. Rating: 9.5/10

The Strain on Hulu!

Credit: denofgeeks.us

The first season of The Strain is on Hulu and the second season will premiere over the Summer. When I first heard about this show, all I knew was that it had to do with vampires. I was thinking it was not going to be very good probably because Twilight has ruined what vampires can be. I now realize that was just a temporary setback. I found out that Guillermo del Toro was putting this show out and I love his work, so I knew I had to watch it. The Strain actually came from a book that Guillermo and Chuck Hogan wrote and now they have developed this show, while they and Carlton Cruse wrote the script.

It originally airs on FX and people usually think horror shows can't be made if they aren't on HBO or another premium channel because they can't say or do as much. Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead opened the doors for more to be shown on basic cable. The first episode of the first season is long and kind of dragged out, but the purpose is to establish the story line. It's not bad, it's just long. *Spoiler alert* The vampires are in no way shape or form pretty. They also don't just have regular fangs to suck blood. The first season is about how vampires become an epidemic in New York.

There are scientists, who discover and have proof that something is not right, but the master vampire has a rich and established handler who knows the right people. The scientists know something isn't right, but they have trouble believing vampires are real until they find out they have to fight them since no one else will. They work for the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), so unfortunately they think there is a cure and it takes them too long to realize that the only thing they can do is fight and try to keep safe.

Other people and vampires join the fight on different teams, so they don't come together yet. It's a great show with a lot of action, an amazing story and a lot of make you think moments. You might think is this how people would really react if an epidemic started and it seems like that is how it would be. There is this old man who has known about vampires since he was young. He has been trying to find, fight and destroy them all of his life. He knows that if the master is killed, all of his minions will perish, but it's easier said than done. The scientists had a hard time believing him and thought he was just some crazy old man. Now, they realize he is the only one they can turn to.

There's a lot to this show that you have to see. It's about staying alive and getting rid of the master. This show has already been renewed for a third season and the second season is about to air, so watch the first season and try to patiently wait for the second one to air. Rating: 8/10
