Yosoo Back Posture Corrector

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. The Yosoo Back Posture Corrector has 2 shoulder straps and three adjustable sides using Velcro strips. It's all black except for the yellow name brand. It's not hard to put on, but you should make sure you expand the straps out as much as possible, so that it's easier to put on. You can easily adjust the straps after putting it on.

You can take it apart completely and it would be two separate pieces. The straps are soft and durable. You can put it under your clothes if you want to. If the straps are hard to put on, it may be upside down or not expanded out as much. You're supposed to be able to adjust them in the front. It's kind of like wearing book bag straps. it's great for controlling and/or correcting your posture.

You can wear it everyday for long periods of time. I did have a little bit of a problem with it. I needed to adjust it far, so the top part (in the picture above) was rubbing the back of my neck. I think if I cover it, I will be fine. I did also try it on over my clothes and they said you could wear it under your clothes, so that might change things as well.

This is a great posture corrector for fixing your shoulders and upper back. Many correctors are for lower back and spine. I needed both, but I have more problems with slouching and this is great for your shoulders. It's thin material that is durable and for the most part, comfortable to wear. Bouchard Chocolate

Bouchard is a company that makes premium chocolates in Belgium. Earlier this year, the company started selling its chocolates in the United States. They are now available at Costco in California, Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas. I received a free pack of dark chocolate to review, so let's get to it!

They seem like chocolates you could eat throughout the day without feeling guilty. They are dark chocolate and have 72% of cacao. They are thin with lines across the top and they come in nice and fancy packaging. Bouchard has been making chocolate since 1931, so I expected that they knew what they were doing.

Dark chocolate usually has a bad bite or aftertaste when it has a lot of cacao in it. When I tried the first piece, it was strong. It's a strong bite the first time, but they are something you will enjoy. I ended up eating them, a little everyday. It's even better when you get to enjoy chocolate that is healthier and high quality.

Bouchard Belgian Chocolatier Dark Chocolate doesn't have a strong, bitter aftertaste, but it does have a strong bite when you're not used to eating dark chocolate with a lot of cacao all the time. This is not saying that it tastes bad, this is me saying it has a strong, rich flavor like coffee does.

All of the pictures are chocolates that Bouchard makes and the one right above is the dark chocolate. I didn't eat it with anything or add it to anything. I just divided it up between my friend and I, so we could both have some. I'm not usually big on dark chocolate with a high cacao level, but I enjoyed this chocolate and can't wait to see what else is in store. Groupon Goods

This is a sponsored post. However, all opinions are my own.

We know that Groupon is the place to go for coupons to many well known brands. When I have to make a big purchase, it costs a lot of money. Even if I'm making a small purchase, I would still like to save money. I would like to see if I can save as much as possible before I have to make that purchase because it can really help me in the long run.

Groupon Goods is a great way to check out what coupons are available for what brands. When you type what you're looking for in the search box, it'll pop up with what you're looking for automatically if it is something they carry. You can look for well known brands such as Apple products, from iPads to Apple TV.

Groupon Goods has a lot of coupons set up to your location as well. For example, if there's a chain of restaurants only in your state, it's possible that there is a discount and/or coupon that apply to it. I live in Arizona and found a lot of cool deals for movie theaters, restaurants, festivals, museums and so much more. It's free to use, easy to search and easy to save money. You can also follow Groupon on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date on deals.

Groupon Saves You Money!

This is a sponsored post. However, all opinions are my own.

I like saving money whenever I can. It leaves me with more money left over for other things or it leaves me feeling like I'm not spending money recklessly. I think that's why many people love using Groupon. I went to a dine-in movie theater with my friend, which costs more than a regular theater. We were able to keep the costs relatively low because we planned out how much to spend and we used Groupon Coupons. We were able to get tickets for $5 to $6 per person. Groupon Coupons can be used for more things than I think people truly realize, including myself! I always look for a deal for something specific and forget just how much stuff you can get a deal on. They have coupons for a variety of brands, including:

  • AutoZone
  • Barnes & Noble
  • Foot Locker
  • T-Mobile
  • Walgreens
  • And many more!

When I shop at eBay or Foot Locker or a great number of other retailers, I would like to see if I can save money. I don't care if I'm saving pennies or dollars because they do add up. You can also follow Groupon on Facebook or Twitter if you want to be reminded of deals out there in the world.

Preacher on AMC!

Credit: amc.com
I did not read the Preacher comics, but I still wanted to see what this show was about. It's straight-up blasphemous, but if you're not easily offended, it is a really good show. The action starts off right away and it's very strong. It does drag out in parts to build up the story-line, but it is well worth it. Dragging out the first season of a show doesn't bother me because it's building up the show. Preacher is about a guy named Jesse Custer who is a preacher and used to do some not so great things. His father was a preacher with a church that Jesse ended up inherited and he feels that he has to follow in his father's footsteps.

Credit: amc.com
Tulip is Jesse's ride-or-die almost former girlfriend. They grew up together and have a kind of love/hate relationship. Tulip doesn't think Jesse is meant to be a preacher and even more than that, she wants him to help get revenge on a person that wronged them. Cassidy is a wisecracking, nice, drinking and drugging Irish vampire, who ends up being Jesse's best friend. Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy slowly become connected and by the end of the season, are *spoiler alert* road tripping together.

Credit: telegraph.co.uk

The whole small town of Annville is full of people who act like they are living righteously, but everyone is a sinner in this town. There's a lot of people who have their backstories told and you find out who's good, who's bad and who's trying their best. Preacher, a.k.a. Jesse Custer, has an internal struggle about if he's doing the right thing being a preacher and trying to lead people. He also wants to know if God is real to the point that he wants to *spoiler alert* find him and talk to him personally. While he is going through these struggles, he happens to get a power that may be a gift or a curse, but he definitely isn't supposed to have it.

There are two angels, who have a child-like mentality, and were somehow given the task of watching over the power that Preacher has. The power, called Genesis, escaped and looked for a worthy host. It found its host in Preacher. The angels try everything in their power to get the power back, including *spoiler alert* using an iconic, cool character from the comics that is currently residing down under and I don't mean Australia. One of the parts that drags is building up the story-line for the cool character known as the Saint of Killers. You see tiny bits of his story-line in most episodes and it all comes together and makes sense in the end.

This show has comedy, action, weird, crazy and outrageous stuff going on. When you get to the end of the season, you get excited for what will happen in the next season because you only find out a few things of what will officially happen, while everything else is left in the air. After wrapped up story-lines, something major and crazy happens, and I for one, can't wait to see what happens next. Rating: 9/10

Posture Corrector Brace by Copper Active

I received this brace heavily discounted in exchange for an honest review. I decided to rearrange the furniture in my home and I moved a dresser and threw my back out. It hurt for a few days and I realized when you're moving around like that, you don't always remember to bend with your knees. I bought this brace, adjusted the shoulder straps and put it on. I moved the rest of the furniture and stuff in my house and was fine.

In the middle of the brace is two sets of straps, so you can adjust it to whatever works for you. You don't even really have to adjust the outermost straps. The main strap has a lot of Velcro, so you can wrap it tight or loose.

The upper straps for the shoulders are also adjustable. They don't straighten your shoulders and they stretch. They are to help adjust your movement with the brace.

I almost ordered a medium brace and ended up getting a large brace because I wanted it to be too big instead of too small, but it's a perfect size for me. It comes in sizes from small to extra large. You will stand up straight and it's great for men or women. You might sweat in the middle, but I recommend wearing a shirt underneath it because the Velcro might make you itchy or irritate your skin. It's comfortable to wear and costs $30. This is a great investment if you work moving furniture, move stuff in a warehouse, get chronic back pain or just don't want to strain your back. You can get it on Amazon here: Posture Corrector Brace

New Ghostbusters!

Credit: Ghostbusters.com

The new Ghostbusters movie received a lot of flack because it has an all female cast. No one had a problem with this movie when you heard they were trying to make another one again over the past 10+ years with the original cast. You didn't hear anything like, "they're too old" or "it's been done". Annie is another movie that received a lot of flack because Annie was made with a young back girl. Some people get upset and think changing a person's color or gender in a movie is a new marketing ploy. It's possible that that is true, but it shouldn't make you immediately hate a movie.

When people found out Heath Ledger was playing Joker and Ben Affleck was playing Batman, they received a lot of flack until people saw their movies. They weren't even changed up for these roles and the hate was still there. They were some of the greatest and most memorable characters. My point is to say see the movie before you judge it. Batman v. Superman wasn't the greatest movie ever, but now people are beyond hyped up for Batman, Justice League and Wonder Woman. With that being said, here's what Ghostbusters is all about:

The director/producer and half of the Ghostbusters are from the movie, Bridesmaids, and you can see that influence and have that familiar feeling of it in this movie. They have quick comebacks, funny jokes and a women that can hold their own feeling to it. Don't compare it to the original Ghostbusters because you will not think it is as good. It's not bad, but you'll remember you love the original and think that nothing could compete.

There are a lot of funny moments and some jokes that fall flat, but there aren't that many. Visually, it looks amazing. You won't feel like it's too much CGI or that it was utilized wrong. Some people were upset that Leslie Jones played a loud mouthed character who couldn't possibly be a scientist. I think Leslie Jones played a character that felt familiar to her and she had a better character than the other Ghostbusters. *Spoiler alert* She knew her way around the city, knew the history of the city and had a stable and high paying job.

Two of the Ghostbusters worked at a high school that they were probably fired from and one of the Ghostbusters definitely lost her job from a revered college. This is another see it before you judge it moment because Jones' character was more than likely the most stable and well-rounded. Chris Hemsworth is also hilarious in this movie and I think he should be used for a lot more comedic roles. The movie shows the Ghostbusters forming their group and fighting ghosts. Then, they have to find out who is helping to make more ghosts appear. It follows the premise of the first film. It also has some cool cameos.

It was a good movie to see and you get some nostalgia from the movie as well. Don't count this movie out, See it first. Then, judge it. If you like it, stay during the end credits, there are a lot of things that they show. Rating: 6/10

Krampus at Redbox!

Credit: Youtube.com

Krampus is a movie that is unexpectedly good. It shows how Christmas used to be the one time where no one acted like a jerk and how we are worse than we've ever been. They show things like how people rush into the store to fight over toys to give their kids to show how much goodwill there is in the world. All hope of all good things to do with Christmas was left on one young boy who loses what little hope he had left. When there is no hope left, you don't get Santa Claus bringing gifts anymore. You get Krampus bringing revenge. The twist ending is what will really get you. There are some parts that make you question why didn't someone do this or that, but the movie stands out for not being a boring horror movie that comes out for Christmas.

When Krampus shows up, he brings toys, but not the kind that puts a smile on your face. He's coming for revenge. He's coming to right wrongs and give a new batch of people a chance to get it right. If Christmas turned into spending time with annoying family members because everyone feels obligated, then Krampus has no choice but to appear. The thing about this movie is that you can only stay safe for so long and there is really only one person who could truly survive, but will they? It has some annoying, goofy and crazy parts. You might even be reminded of an annoying family member or two. Watch this movie, look out for Krampus and be glad he isn't real.

Tryazon What's In Your Purse Party

Tryazon let's you host parties to get the word out for awesome products and the best part is that you can keep and give away whatever you want to. For this party, I received Brainstream SOI Purse Light, Whoosh! Duo+ and Cool Cucumber Eye Pads from Amirose London. You take pictures, share them to social media, show and tag Tryazon and you're done. You get some really nice products and you need at least 5 people at your party. Now, let's talk about the products.

These were created for when you can't find what you're looking for in your purse. You can also use them in a dark room. For example, if you're looking for the light in the bathroom, you can use this light to help you find the switch. The light is touch-activated, very bright and lasts for about 15 seconds. You will be able to quickly and easily find what you're looking for in your purse.

Whoosh! Duo+ is a cleaner for any and all of your screens. It comes in two bottles and one is pocket-sized. You also get two clothes and this product is free of harsh chemicals. It gets rid of smudges, dirt and grime. Your cell phone is one of the dirtiest things that never gets washed and using this product makes your phone healthier to use.

The green pack is the Amirose London Cool Cucumber Eyes Pads. You can use them as-is, but they work better if you put them in the fridge. They have a cucumber design on them and you place them over your eyes to reduce the strain and look of your eyes after staring at a computer screen all day. All of these products work great and the party was fun. We all got to test and play around with everything. One person used the lights to pretend he was Iron Man and another person cleaned their phone. I gave away and kept some of the products and I can't wait to throw another party. I received these products free in exchange for an honest review and a cool party!

First Botany Cosmeceuticals Coco Glow Coconut Milk Body Scrub

This is a body scrub from a company named First Botany Cosmeceuticals. It's made from all natural ingredients, it has a light coconut scent and it makes your skin feel amazing. It feels like salt when you rub it on your skin. You use it after you clean yourself in a bath or shower, but before you're ready to come out.

You rub this scrub all over in a circular motion and it works best if you do it two to three times, but I just use it once. You can use it to help get rid of dead skin. You can also exfoliate, soften, smooth and revitalize your skin. It has vitamins and nutrients and works well for dry and/or damaged skin.

It doesn't have any harsh chemicals and doesn't irritate my skin. It costs about $20 a jar and it's a chance to get a spa-like treatment without the big cost. I have dry skin and I didn't have any problem using this. It can also help with dry skin with continued use. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. Get it here: Coconut Scrub

Barbershop: The Next Cut

blogs.indiewire.com
Barbershop: The Next Cut is the third Barbershop movie in the franchise. It's important to keep in mind that this movie is not something that's going to win an Oscar. There are people that rated this bad because they are treating it as something other than what it is. These are the same people who loved the movie Step Brothers or Superbad. It's not that this movie is bad, it's that it has a mostly black cast, which makes it more relatable to black people. This doesn't mean it isn't a movie for everyone, though. Everyone and anyone can follow the storyline and the jokes. It follows the formula of the first Barbershop movie, but it is way funnier.

Calvin still gets frustrated at the way certain things are going in his life and his frustrations lead him to making a big decision that affects the lives of the people he works with. He decides not to tell his co-workers, but one of them knows the truth and rats Calvin out in front of the whole Barbershop. Eddie, the old barber, gives Calvin some advice. Then, Calvin apologizes and changes his mind. It's the same formula from the first film, so why see it? First off, a lot of movies follow generic story lines, but that doesn't mean they're bad. Second, there's more to this story than that. Finally, as I mentioned above this movie is very funny.

The barbershop is now a barbershop and a hair salon, Calvin's son is older and making bad decisions, Common is filling in for Michael Ealy as his own brand new character, who married Eve's character, Terri. Some people make quick cameos, but still have a central or funny part that adds to the story. There's a nerdy chick, an awkward guy, a loose woman, an honorable man and so on. They have a variety of characters that bring in their perspective to things and it's fun to see.

They mentioned that no matter what happens in the movie, there will be something funny said or done to lighten the mood. It's something that happens in the black community, so I understood the reason for this. They have the main cast from the first two movies and a few new additions. The only problems with this movie is that some moments either wrap up quickly or don't realistically happen. It doesn't take away from the movie, though. I think they did it to not make the movie more grim than it had to be and that they didn't want to make it too long.

The movie touches on real world issues, the way some men and women act today, how things have changed over time, etc. No matter what happens in this movie, you will be laughing from start to finish. If you don't want to see The Jungle Book or have already seen it, check out Barbershop: The Next Cut. Don't forget to watch the end scene that rolls with the credits!

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Credit: comicbook.com

This is a movie that almost everyone has been waiting for. You finally get to see a movie with Batman and Superman. There is a problem, though. For Hollywood, the more people you add to the story, the harder it becomes to tell everyone's side. If you haven't seen this movie, you will go see it. It doesn't matter how many bad reviews it gets because it's the story you've been waiting for. Every character in this movie has been perfectly cast, but the story is not a strong one. You will see a lot of back and forth, dream sequences and parts that just flat out make no sense, whatsoever. However, you will and should go see this movie.

The standout star of this movie is Wonder Woman. She is getting a solo movie directed and written by women, so when you see her in this movie, you will want to see her in her own film. She doesn't stand out very strong as Diana Prince, but when she enters as Wonder Woman, she can handle things better than the men can. You also get the best Batman you can. The script wouldn't make you think so, but the mannerisms and movements of the grizzled, older Batman are all here. This is not the Batman you are used to, though. There is a much more grim Batman in this movie. This Batman does stand out and is expected to also have a solo movie.

Superman is what Superman always is. He is the guy that does what's right, even when people are against him. Lois Lane is actually a bit bothersome in this movie. She always gets herself in trouble for the sake of letting people know that she is a journalist and not just a woman. She is constantly a damsel in distress, in harm's way and/or making bad decisions. Superman loves and saves her regardless because she gives him his bit of normalcy and keeps him on his toes as Superman.

People hated Lex Luthor in this movie, but it was a great version of him because he was actually a spoiled nuisance in his younger years. He'll come across as annoying in the movie, but he is kind of meant to be that way. The other villain in this movie is Doomsday. He'll look just like Doomsday, which is cool, but he'll seem like a quick throwaway character. The problem with this movie is that there is so much stuff that had to be established, that it actually hurt the script. They had to establish Batman and Superman's fight, why Wonder Woman was there, Lex Luthor and Doomsday's origins, the Justice League and how they will form and so on.

This movie hypes you up to all of the other movies coming. It's almost as if it forgot to hype up it's own story. Batman and Superman's fight is trivial and the way it was solved was even worse. However, the actual physical fight is pretty cool. The action and fight scenes are good, Jeremy Irons is the best Alfred I have ever seen and Laurence Fishburne makes a great Perry White. There are some scenes that are completely unnecessary and it kind of feels like there is a movie or two missing before this one. You will either like it or hate it, but it will leave you wanting more. More being Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, Batman and Justice League 1 and 2 as long as they're not written like this movie. Rating: 6/10

Daredevil Season 2!

Credit: denofgeek.us

When I saw the first season of Daredevil, I was excited because it was everything and more. It had a great cast, story, dialogue, fight scenes, etc. It let me know that with the right people, you can make something great. I couldn't even begin to imagine how they would top that season. With the second season officially upon us, I can say without a doubt, they definitely found a way to top it. This was the season that Daredevil had to question everything he was. We were also introduced to Punisher and Elektra. Stick returned to continue fighting the "war" that no one believes is real, Punisher gets revenge for his family, Elektra shows up to wreck havoc and Daredevil tries to figure out how he can balance being a lawyer and a superhero.

*Spoiler alert* Daredevil can't balance his life, everyone gets mad at him and he still pushes to not kill anyone, even though Punisher and Elektra are the types to follow through on that quest. Wilson Fisk and Nobu show up and nurse Claire quits her job and leaves, so she can go to the Luke Cage show. Daredevil realizes that Stick is right about not getting close to people. It's too bad that he keeps dragging people back into his life. When you see this season, it will be better than the first and it will hype you all the way up to the third season. It lets you know a little bit about where it's headed, like how Wilson Fisk wants to know more about Matt Murdock.

The two best things out of this season are Punisher and fight scenes. Daredevil is cool, but he's struggling with so much. Elektra is his ex-girlfriend that shows up out of nowhere when he recently decided to date Karen. I personally think he should have gotten with Claire because he always puts her in danger, but she still holds him down, while Karen always runs to the danger. Punisher is cool. You'll feel like he steps up where Daredevil can't. A part of Daredevil realizes that every bad guy he puts away ends up right back on the street, but he insists on keeping all of them alive. Punisher only goes after bad guys, but it's possible that he could just be making everything easy for when Wilson Fisk gets out of prison.

Elektra is not as great as I hoped she be, but she's still pretty good. She has great fight scenes, but she's a spoiled rich woman, who's more than okay with killing. She's constantly fighting between being good and bad, while getting on Matt's nerves. Sometimes, she means well and sometimes she doesn't. It's the spoiled rich woman part of her that gets on my nerves, while Punisher is a straight to the point kind of guy. I think superhero movies and t.v. shows just generally have trouble writing female superheros, probably because they are written from a male perspective. She's often hot, bratty and overly-sensitive. Don't get me started on Rogue from the X-Men. She couldn't even fly and just wanted a boyfriend that she could hold hands with.

Anyways, lots of great action is in this season. There are fight scenes from beginning to end without missing a beat. I know Matt is going to have trouble next season and it looks like Fisk is definitely coming back in a big way next season. Foggy might have a new, big, powerful job and Karen now knows Matt's secret. Stick has to continue fighting the war and Elektra will come back in a very different manner. Punisher has a cool new outfit and weapons and Daredevil is slowing starting to upgrade his look and weapons. I can't wait for season 3 and I'm glad Luke Cage will be coming out in September. I can't wait to see that show. I'm glad I have these first two amazing seasons of Daredevil to hold me over until then. Rating: 9.5/10

The Strain on Hulu!

Credit: denofgeeks.us

The first season of The Strain is on Hulu and the second season will premiere over the Summer. When I first heard about this show, all I knew was that it had to do with vampires. I was thinking it was not going to be very good probably because Twilight has ruined what vampires can be. I now realize that was just a temporary setback. I found out that Guillermo del Toro was putting this show out and I love his work, so I knew I had to watch it. The Strain actually came from a book that Guillermo and Chuck Hogan wrote and now they have developed this show, while they and Carlton Cruse wrote the script.

It originally airs on FX and people usually think horror shows can't be made if they aren't on HBO or another premium channel because they can't say or do as much. Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead opened the doors for more to be shown on basic cable. The first episode of the first season is long and kind of dragged out, but the purpose is to establish the story line. It's not bad, it's just long. *Spoiler alert* The vampires are in no way shape or form pretty. They also don't just have regular fangs to suck blood. The first season is about how vampires become an epidemic in New York.

There are scientists, who discover and have proof that something is not right, but the master vampire has a rich and established handler who knows the right people. The scientists know something isn't right, but they have trouble believing vampires are real until they find out they have to fight them since no one else will. They work for the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), so unfortunately they think there is a cure and it takes them too long to realize that the only thing they can do is fight and try to keep safe.

Other people and vampires join the fight on different teams, so they don't come together yet. It's a great show with a lot of action, an amazing story and a lot of make you think moments. You might think is this how people would really react if an epidemic started and it seems like that is how it would be. There is this old man who has known about vampires since he was young. He has been trying to find, fight and destroy them all of his life. He knows that if the master is killed, all of his minions will perish, but it's easier said than done. The scientists had a hard time believing him and thought he was just some crazy old man. Now, they realize he is the only one they can turn to.

There's a lot to this show that you have to see. It's about staying alive and getting rid of the master. This show has already been renewed for a third season and the second season is about to air, so watch the first season and try to patiently wait for the second one to air. Rating: 8/10

Everest at Redbox!

Credit: pop.inquirer.net

If you like mountain-climbing movies and/or movies based on a true story, then you will probably want to see this movie. It's well made, but the story bothers me. *Spoiler Alert* It has a sad ending, people really died and it seemed like a lot of problems were avoidable. I think the part that really bothers me is that some of the deaths were avoidable. This all took place in 1996. People who were mountain climbers and adventure seekers decided to turn that into a business. There were different companies and groups of people who were all trying to climb Everest at the same time because there is a window where you have to go in May for your greatest chance of survival. It's when the temperatures are the best they can be and you still have a high chance of not surviving.

All of these groups of people trying to go at the same time was one problem and taking anybody who wants to go is another problem. There were people who had little to no experience and people who have done this many times before. They sign up and pay big money to have a guide and their crew take them up the mountain for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I don't have a problem with thrill seekers and people who just genuinely wanted to see the top of this mountain. My problem is that people who usually have money to blow don't often listen to the people in charge and this is another problem that led to this tragic moment.

The first half of the movie is a nice and normal mountain climbing movie. The people are training themselves to handle the cold temperatures and lack of oxygen, communication is good and the temperatures are harsh, but manageable. The second half of the movie is when everything goes downhill. *Spoiler Alert* Some of the guides didn't survive, there was miscommunication and the weather became really bad and unpredictable. One guide didn't survive because he was getting sick early on and his whole team made it to the top. He didn't want to be the only person to not make it to the top. His team reached him when they realized he didn't make it back, but it was too late.

Another guide didn't survive because one of his clients was late making it to the top and they were just outside the window of time to go up the mountain. The guide went against his better judgement to help his client and they ran out of oxygen. The client fell off the mountain and the guide survived the first night in what is known as the "danger zone", but no one could reach him due to extremely bad weather. He ended up having to stay there another night and he didn't make it. One of the guides said the oxygen tanks were empty, but the cold temperatures made him kind of hallucinate when the tanks were actually full.

It's just sad knowing some people could have actually lived. It's even worse when you think about the fact that no one could be taken back and buried. Everest is based on a true story for the most part. It looks good visually, the acting is good and the drama is real intense. This might be a movie you watch once, but wouldn't buy just because you wouldn't want to be constantly reminded, but it is still a good movie. Rating: 6/10

The Visit at Redbox!

Credit: imdb.com

The Visit is about two kids who go to visit their grandparents, whom they've never met before. They did it to give their mother a break after their father left. The mother had a falling out with her parents a long time ago and her kids never met them until now. For a wide release film, this movie had a relatively low budget of 5 million dollars. It comes from Blumhouse Productions and they have been making a lot of decent horror films. It also comes from M. Night Shyamalan, who's a good director, but some of his movies are hit and miss.

This movie made all of its money back and then some. It doesn't have any special effects, but it still manages to come across as a back-to-basics horror film. When you watch it, you think that the grandmother is possessed or something, but this movie has a twist ending that will bother you. Becca and her little brother, Tyler take a train to visit their grandparents, while their mother goes on a cruise with a guy she likes. The children hope she will enjoy and start to feel happy again after their father left them.

Becca decides to turn this into an opportunity to film her grandparents, learn about them and make amends between them and her mother. Becca comes across as a hipster director/filmmaker and Tyler is an annoying little brother who raps. Don't let this stop you from watching the movie, though. It's the grandparents who really shine. They come across as a bit withdrawn and it's written off as they're elderly and don't know their grandchildren. The grandfather tells the children that they go to bed at 9:30 p.m. He later tells them that they should stay in their rooms at 9:30 p.m. They notice both grandparents are increasingly acting strange and Becca tries to rationalize it. After talking to their mother via webcam, the mother tries to rationalize it until she finds out something terrible.

This movie is filmed like Paranormal Activity. It has the kids recording and holding cameras and it tells you what day they are on for their one week visit with their grandparents. It's not scary like typical horror movies. It's more scary if this really happened and because of the way the actors build up the suspense. Although, it does have some kind of scary moments. You might even yell at your screen and tell the kids to stop opening the door at night. It's a pretty decent horror movie. 6/10

Japan Crate!

A Japan Crate is a monthly subscription box, where you receive Japanese candy, snacks and possibly drinks. There are 3 crates: the mini for $12/month, the original for $25/month and the premium for $30/month. You get free U.S. shipping and pay a fee for international shipping. You also have to pay taxes. You can get a discount if you are a brand new customer. They also have tiers of how to pay for the crates. You can pay month-to-month or you can pay 3, 6 and 12-month plans. You would pay all of the amount now, but you would save more money the longer the plan is. They also have Doki Doki Crates, which is great if you like Japanese toys and branded products. I will be focusing on the original Japan Crate for this review. I'm doing this review for free in case anyone wanted to know more about Japan Crate.

The original crate is a 1 pound crate that has 8 to 10 items and is guaranteed a DIY kit. The DIY kit is something you make and eat or drink. The crates shipped out a bit late, so they threw in 3 mini green tea KitKat's. I'm not a big green tea person, but these were not intense with the green tea flavor. They tasted like white chocolate KitKat's  with a light green tea hit in the background. The purple and white candy in the picture looked and chewed like gum, but it was taffy that also tasted great. If you get a Japan Crate, don't freak out thinking that they forgot to ship your stuff. They usually have to ship out a lot of stuff and they will email you when your crate does ship.

I received Nabisco Chip Star Potato Chips, which looked and tasted like plain Pringles, even though they were seaweed and salt-flavored. Every crate gives you random things to try and you might not like all of them, but you won't know until you try them. The chips in the above picture in the bottom right are the Chip Star Potato Chips and they were also well packaged. I only had a couple of broken ones and it wasn't a lot of crumbs. I had to get my friend to eat them before I told her they were seaweed-flavored. Some people freak out and you might have to get them to try something before they say no just off of what they think it will taste like.

The super lemon candy were pretty much lemon warheads. They started off sour and became sweet. I liked them, but I couldn't eat a whole pack of them, so I gave some away. I did enjoy everything I had, but there was one thing that got me. In the above picture with the blue bag and the ice cream on it, that was one of the DIY kits I received. It was supposed to make some type of foamy apple cider-tasting "ice cream". It wasn't really ice cream because you never put it in the freezer, but it did come with ice cream cones. I didn't like it because it didn't taste good and the foam looked like and was the consistency of saliva. I know that sounds gross, but that's just the experience I had with it. Sorry. It happens. You don't like everything. Back to the yummy stuff.

These 2 products were great. I received gum in flavors of cola, cider and grape. Japan does a really good job of making candy that tastes like cola. It's in the background, sugary and has a nice flavor to it without the carbonation. The gum lasts and you can blow bubbles if you want. Japan also does a really good job when it comes to gummy candy. They aren't soft chews like Trolli gummy candy, but they are easy to chew. They also have a good combination of sour and sweet and have great flavors.

I saved the best for last, chocolate. I live in a hot climate, so I was glad it didn't melt. If it did melt, I still would have put it in the freezer. The chocolate across the bottom is chocolate with colored wafer balls on top. It tasted great like a Nestle Crunch almost. The chocolate was also shaped into different things like bears, hearts and cones. The picture across the top was my other DIY kit. It had little chocolate candy balls that you use to make a design. You melt the other chocolate, mold it and refrigerate or freeze it and eat it. There is nothing bad that can be said about these.

Every crate is different, so you might like the one you get this month and hate the one you get next month. Overall, I enjoyed this crate. If you love or want to try Japanese candy, then this is a good subscription service to try. If you're worried about cost or not getting the crate you want, you can get a discount as a new subscriber, try the mini crate for less money, check the Japan Crate past crates page or look at un-boxing videos for Japan Crates. It will let you know more about it and help you make a decision. It's always mostly candy, but you can get other types of products. It's a surprise every time. I saw one crate had dried squid. Drinks usually come in the premium crates, but Japan Crate occasionally has special crates on the side such as a lucky crate. It had 3 drinks, candy, gum and a savory snack and everybody got a different combination of those things. If you want to try it, go for it and it also makes a great gift as well!

Deadpool!

Credit: foxmovies.com

Yes, Deadpool is a great movie. The End. I'm kidding. You want to know more about it. If you know about Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds has all of his mannerisms down and is the best person to play him. The movie is a lot like the comic books and the video game with a few minor changes. If you've never seen or heard of Deadpool, this is a good introduction movie. If you know Deadpool, you'll like it, but it may not be the greatest movie you've ever seen in life. My friend saw it and was upset about it because it was a very big background story type of movie. I had to tell her that this is for people who don't know enough about Deadpool and the next movie will be the one you love.

I did like Deadpool, but there were some minor things that could have made it better. *Spoilers* Deadpool has a girlfriend. She's his perfect other half and I liked her, but Deadpool is supposed to always chase after women and maybe men that he can never really get. The whole movie was about him feeling he was too ugly to see his girlfriend and she was okay with him in the end. He won't chase after people or hit his peak weirdness because he's kind of in or will be in a stable relationship.

The backstory was a little long because it was throughout the whole movie. I get that they had to introduce him to people that don't know about him, but you might feel like you missed out on cool action sequences because the backstory took up all the space. You'll get good jokes, cool action and lots of crazy, but the backstory is most of the movie and getting revenge/saving his girlfriend is the rest of the movie. This doesn't mean you will hate it. You will be satisfied. Deadpool's very funny, goofy and says things before he realizes they came out wrong.

It has an R-rating for a reason. There is nudity, cursing, lots of violence and Deadpool's really enjoying and hyping all of this up. Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead are awesome as people who want Deadpool to join the X-Men and kind of be a hero. It's weird though, because Deadpool keeps telling you that he is not a hero, but he's kind of doing hero stuff in this movie. He also has a blind roommate that I was hoping wouldn't put up with his mouth. I was hoping that she would be his equal match. She is, but in a different way. She hits him with a crass comment here or there, but nothing that counters what he says. It's not super noticeable, but I was hoping she would have had great comebacks for him to keep him on his toes.

Deadpool also didn't have that cool narrating voice in the back of his head. In the movie, he talks outloud to himself and to the camera/audience, but in the game, it's a different voice/personality. It works great in the movie the way they did it, but I thought it would be cool to see.

There also wasn't a huge fight scene at the end against the main villains. The villains are also throughout the movie, but most of the fight scenes are against people to find the villain and with the backstory taking up most of the time, there wasn't a big epic fight scene against Ajax. I do like that they didn't drag the movie out trying to show too much. None of the things I've mentioned are hang-ups for the movie. It's still very Deadpool and an awesome movie. It has opened the floodgates for more anti-hero and R-rated comic book movies. Deadpool is set up well and he hypes you up to getting a second Deadpool movie with Cable in it. For diehards, you will like or love this movie, because Deadpool is perfect in it. The funny moments are extremely funny and the action is great. It makes up for the story line. The story line is good, but will be even better for Deadpool 2. What movies are you waiting to see? Comment below. Rating: 7/10

Z-Nation on Netflix!

Credit: Wikipedia

The first two seasons of Z-Nation are on Netflix and you should not compare it to The Walking Dead in any way shape or form. Z-Nation can be seen on Netflix or Syfy and it's more comedy than horror. You'll either think it's funny, stupid or both. I like it because it's funny and still has action in it. The first season is about these doctors who gets prisoners to volunteer to be subjects without them fully knowing what's going on. The doctors are having vaccines tested on them to see if a cure can be made for the zombie apocalypse. Everyone, except a guy named Murphy, turns into a zombie or dies and right when the doctors see Murphy survive, the zombie outbreak hits them. Z-Nation is about a group of random people tasked with having to deliver Murphy to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in California to see if they can make a cure.

Credit: Z-Nation Wikia

The first season has military people tasked with transporting Murphy and, eventually, the group is led by Lt. Roberta Warren. She is strong-willed, a great fighter and the only person who can tame Murphy. Murphy is not just a possible vaccine, though. He's also a mostly jerk/occasionally nice person who experiences certain side effects and keeps escaping. His skin changes colors and he has mind control over certain zombies. Other group members are: Addy, who's good at getting Z's with a bat covered in barbed wire, Doc, who's good at fighting, caring and being a doctor, even though he was a psychiatrist and 10K, the youngest member of the group, who's a good sharpshooter and wants to get 10,000 Z's, hence the name, 10K. There are other members and people the group encounters, here and there, but this is the main group.

You'll see a lot of crazy things as the group goes through different states and on different side missions. You'll see a zombie baby, possible aliens, a cartel, fast zombies and the list goes on and on. This is a show you will either love or hate. It's on Syfy and they make goofy horror stuff all of the time. It's over-the-top all the way through, so watch a few episodes before you come to your decision of if you really like it or not. Season 2 is even crazier and I liked it just as much if not more. 7/10

Sound Intone Sport In-Ear Headphones with In-line Mic

I reviewed Sound Intone headphones before and this is another pair I will be writing about. You always get great quality sound out of these headphones. I don't want to buy expensive headphones that will break at some point. I usually buy $10 headphones and expect them to break at some point, but they work, they sound okay, and I don't spend too much money. I like these headphones because the sound is better than $10 headphones and they are always wrapped in cord that will last longer than other headphones would.

These headphones are sports headphones that are designed to go in the ear and partially wrap around the ear. They fit comfortably and they don't fall out. They come with an awesome little hard case, a long cord that has a mic and the cord is wrapped in another type of plastic. I have red headphones and they come in other colors.

Inside the case is the warranty, a description of the device as well as a picture of how to correctly put the headphones on and 6 different-sized ear bud pieces. You also get a nice little clip and you can store your headphones in the case if you want. It has that one little side pocket and you could just leave all that stuff in there if you don't want to use it for the headphones.

The headphones come with a microphone and it has two volume buttons and a start/end call button. You can use these for a variety of devices including smartphones, laptops, tablets, e-readers, mp3 players and so on. You can use them for working out, working hard or just relaxing. They stay in place if you are working out. You can hear calls, music and other stuff really clear. You can even use the microphone for your music. You can turn the volume up or down and can pause or play your music. The cord is about standard length for most headphones and you can adjust a little strap under the headphones, too. I received this product heavily discounted in exchange for this honest review.
